We invite you to step away from the noise of the city and join us for an adventure that combines the best of the mountains and the Tara river. This three day journey is designed to help you reconnect with nature while giving you a healthy dose of excitement.
Your first day begins with a warm welcome and a short introduction before the adventure continues on land. You will hop into one of our sturdy jeeps for a safari through rugged mountain trails, with views of the beautiful Tara Canyon along the way. We take you to hidden viewpoints that most people never get to see, where the canyon and surrounding wilderness unfold in quiet, natural beauty. These landscapes feel untouched and vast. As the sun starts to go down, we head back to the camp. The evening is spent over a relaxed dinner, with plenty of conversation and the quiet sounds of the forest all around you.
On your second day, breakfast is served between 08:00 and 09:00, with the flavors of this region setting the tone for a slow, peaceful morning (within this arrangement, breakfast time can be adjusted by agreement). Homemade prosciutto, warm traditional uštipci with kajmak, and freshly baked bread under the veil are just a gentle introduction to what the day holds.
After breakfast, the time is yours to simply be. Rest, breathe, and watch the rafting line move through one of the most beautiful rapids in the Tara Canyon. With a drink in hand, you can sit by the river and let the sound of water and nature take over. If you feel like it, the Tara is there for a refreshing swim, clear and inviting.
Lunch is served between 14:00 and 15:00, continuing with simple, authentic local dishes prepared with care. Afterwards, the afternoon slows down even more. You can wander along the riverbank or through the forest paths, where everything feels soft and unhurried. Upstream, the old hanging bridge over the Tara quietly connects the landscape, while downstream a small riverside cave waits in silence, known only to those who find it. A walk to the nearby village of Koljeno, just 3 km away, offers a glimpse into the rhythm of mountain life, unchanged by time.
Dinner is served between 20:30 and 21:30, bringing once again the warmth of traditional cuisine to the table. As night settles over the canyon, the river continues its steady song. You can stay by the water, share stories, or simply sit in silence under a sky full of stars, where time feels like it slows down completely. A day gently unfolding in the heart of the Tara Canyon, where you do not rush life—you simply live it.
On the third day, you will wake up to a hearty breakfast because you are going to need the energy. Today is all about the water. We take you to the famous Tara Canyon for a rafting experience like no other. The river has a life of its own. You will feel the pulse of the water as we navigate through rapids that are fast, strong, and intense. It is a thrilling ride that demands your full attention. By the time we reach the end of the route, you will feel a great sense of accomplishment.
After the tour we head back to the camp for a well-earned lunch. Once lunch is finished, the arrangement comes to a close, giving you time to slowly prepare for departure. As you pack your bags, you may notice a quiet but pleasant feeling. The contrast between the deep silence of the mountains and the raw energy of the river stays with you. Secure your nature stay now and give yourself the gift of absolute peace and quiet.
