About This Tour

Your escape begins on the first afternoon. When you arrive, the camp is settling into its natural rhythm. You will check into your wooden house. There is no rush here. We want you to put your phone away and just breathe. You can walk down to the riverbank or sit on the porch of our camp and watch the shadows grow long over the Tara canyon.

As evening falls, the smell of dinner starts to drift through the camp. We prepare fresh meals using local ingredients, bringing together simple flavors and traditional recipes. Dinner often turns into long, easy conversations. You will meet people from all over the world, sharing stories under a sky full of stars. It is a relaxed evening where the only schedule is the one you make for yourself.

Day two starts early with the smell of fresh coffee. You can enjoy your breakfast while watching the mist rise off the water. After breakfast, we move on to getting your rafting equipment and a short briefing from the skipper before the adventure begins. Once the rafting begins, everything else fades away. The canyon rises hundreds of meters around you. It feels like a hidden world that few people get to see. The water carries you forward, and time starts to feel different. You stop counting the minutes and start counting the waves.

After we finish the descent, we return to the camp for a lunch. You will feel tired in the best possible way. Your muscles will be heavy, but your mind will be light. We serve a hearty meal to restore your energy after the rafting trip. You leave with a full stomach and a full heart, carrying the energy of the river with you.

Frequently Asked Questions

What if I can't swim?

Non-swimmers are welcome on this tour. Your buoyancy aid keeps you afloat at all times, and the guide is trained in swift-water rescue. Let us know in advance and we'll seat you in the safest position in the raft.

What should I wear?

Wear clothing you don't mind getting wet — swimwear or sports shorts work well. We provide wetsuits, helmets, and buoyancy aids. Bring a dry change of clothes for after the tour and water shoes or old trainers that can get wet.

Is the tour suitable for children?

Yes — minimum age is 12. Children aged 12–16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian in the raft. The tour is suitable for children in normal fitness with no prior experience.

What time does the tour start and finish?

Meeting time is 9:00 at Šćepan Polje. The raft typically returns to the take-out by 16:00–17:00, with a shuttle back to the start point shortly after. Allow a full day.
