Our campsite is located on the Montenegrin side of the Tara River, near the Šćepan Polje border crossing. Here is how to get to us from major cities.
Drive via Nikšić and Plužine following the E762 route. The journey takes approximately 3.5 hours taking you through spectacular Piva Canyon scenery.
Cross into Bosnia via Trebinje, then head towards Bileća and Foča. From Foča, it’s a short drive to the Šćepan Polje border. Duration is around 3.5 to 4 hours.
Take the M18 highway south towards Trnovo and Foča. From Foča, continue to Šćepan Polje. The total driving time is about 2.5 hours.
Drive via Nevesinje and Gacko towards the Tjentište National Park, eventually reaching Foča and turning towards Šćepan Polje. Roughly 3.5 hours of driving.
Once you cross the border at Šćepan Polje, the route is very straightforward. Simply follow the paved asphalt road along the right bank (Montenegrin side) of the canyon. Do not cross any additional bridges. Our campsite is beautifully situated right along this road, a quick and scenic drive from the crossing.
